Overview
About Me
I continued living and working in LA for three years after graduating from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA, in 2013 (so seven years total). Once the dusty concrete got to be too much I decided to switch things up and move to Melbourne in December 2016. I now work as a freelance graphic designer to pay for my travels.
I am currently traveling with my older sister, Marta. :)
Marta is a 28-year-old TV producer who quit her job in reality TV to come travel with me. She has worked in news, indie film and reality TV. (She is the person who looks just like me in my profile pictures.)
We are both in a period of transition with our lives right now. Thankfully our decisions to quit our jobs lined up! We have taken this opportunity to pause and reflect on where we are in life and where we want to be going. Our biggest dream (currently) is to combine our skillsets and produce our own creative content that documents the experience of introspection during travel.
*** I don't think I should have to pay a fee to confirm that I am a responsible and respectful person. Feel free to ask me for more information or references! ***
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CS has been a very surprising experience for me and my sister. We surfed for the first time in Munich in September of 2017. Given some horror stories we heard, I can honestly say we were pretty worried about it (our backup plan being grabbing our shit and running if things got weird). But thankfully this was never necessary.
CS has restored my faith in meeting strangers across the world. Traveling can make you pretty misanthropic... something the blogs rarely talk about. (For example, I'm pretty sure my sister and I will never seek out the hostel life ever again.)
I have truly enjoyed the hospitality exchange with everyone I've met through this platform and intend to become a host where(when)ever I settle next!

G: I am proficient the Adobe Creative Suite and am learning more about After Effects, Wordpress, and Squarespace. I am extremely passionate about environmental issues/solutions and am always in the mood for some live music. :)

I am always down to practice yoga and play the piano - Everytime by Britney Spears is my fav party trick. <3
