ABOUT ME

My name is Hyun Min Kim, and it means 'Bright Sky' in Chinese characters. You can always call me 'Min' :D

I'm living in Auckland and currently studying Bachelor of Architecture at the moment, but my hometown is Daegu, city in Republic of Korea.
I can speak fluent Korean(obviously!) and not as much as natives but real fluent English and Japanese as I studied it for long time. I just started learning Spanish and Chinese, and I'm a real beginner but I'll try to become more fluent with the two languages.

I am a very friendly, communicative person. I have friends from various countries and I am interested in making friends and learn about your culture(As i have deep knowledge of my ethnicity if you want to learn, i can always tell you about Korean culture as well!)

I am interested in architecture and arts, especially visual art. I'm also interested in history of art, movies and traveling! Actually, I will be pleased to do anything but staying home. I love walking and hiking and riding bikes, but I am pretty bad at sports(in general) Still, I'm interested in learning it :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met wonderful hosts while I roamed around India for nearly 4 months, and meeting them will be one of my most memorable, joyful experience I'v ever had in my life :D
As I am planning to travel other countries, it would be my great pleasure to meet more people and have more friends :D !

Interested in Animation, Fantasy, Action and Thriller(but not slasher) movies....actually I like happy-endings and I just tend to avoid sad-ending stories :(

Um... and I am still a big fan of Disney (especially LION KING), Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter :^D

Interested in rock music, but familiar with all types of genres. I also love new-age piano musics and movie OSTs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- 2 years of experience of being involved in teaching kids with autism. I still remember their smile :)
- BUNGY ;D
- 1 month of volunteering in Mother House in Kolkata. I won't be able to forget their eyes.
