Overview
About Me
I love travelling and exploring new cities. I love going to all types of festivals and events. I hate cold weather, so my favourite places to travel usually involve beaches, or at least hot summers.
I like food, good beer, politics, wildlife, beaches, meeting new people, movies (horrors, thrillers, doccos), theatre, exhibitions, art, design, jewellery, fashion etc. I'm very progressive and open minded.
I currently work for a child welfare organisation. In my spare time I also write articles and film/theatre reviews for various publications.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couch Surfing is awesome. I have stayed with people in the US so far and met people here in Melbourne. Its a fantastic way to meet new people and has always been a positive experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a huge collection of books but most are either non-fiction or art/design books. I like books that teach me something new and therefore have tonnes of text books.
I like hard electronic music (hardstyle, breakcore, dubstep etc), but also rock, industrial, metal etc. I'm open to pretty much anything though.
I'm a huge movie fan. My favourite genres are documentaries and horror/thrillers. I love film festivals and frequent them as much as possible. MIFF is amazing, if you're in Melbs during July/August and are a big movie buff, you should go!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm good with any craft based activities. I often make clothing, silver jewelry, ceramic ware etc.
