My Life Philosophy

I am like a chameleon, a visionary now on my own who can do and has tried mostly everything. Who am I? A woman, grandma and a senior but with no age label attached. No-one can can stop me to fully embrace the beauty of life which with compassion gives me physical, mental, emotional and spiritual strength.

I’m always excited meeting new people of different cultures and countries around the world. My passions and love are music, cooking, dancing, animals, children, decorating, designing, creating fashion and jewelry.

I was married for 48 years and we built our dream creating a successful hospitality business for guests around the world. We entertained as hosts in Canada welcoming everyone with warm hospitality including volunteers on our ranch and home. With my late husband, for 38 years were foster parents for children and high risk teens.

From a fashion world in Europe to becoming a German immigrant now for over 45 years being a proud Canadian. Being visionary entrepreneurs all our married life my husband of 49 years passed away in 2022 we were always visionary entrepreneurs building our dreams from scratch. Now retired on a 400 acreage in BC off grid but I keep up my adventurous nature to travel over the winter as a volunteer to search for the beauty of tomorrow believing that no one is too old or young, too rich or poor to not be inspired or learn.

As well to write, to share and care with compassion giving my experiences of life adversity to conquer any obstacles or struggles with inner strength.

All my poetry books are inspired by real events about young people, adults and the wonder of nature and life. All observed or encountered expressed through thought, feelings, reflections of myself and others. My purpose is to encourage, motive and guide anyone who is open towards wisdom and advice.

To love sincerely and be filled with inner joy and commitments targeting with peace any challenges. My personal life and choices are the initiator of reaching out. Living out of the box, dramatic and colourful.

I believe to build and nurture relationships with honesty, depth and fun that will last, will be happy and close lifelong. Understanding self and others is the key to inner power which each one has to want and give worldwide then we build together a united nation of emotional oneness and power.

Never afraid of the unknown, here we go. Curiosity guides me. That’s who I am. That is why I think I can help, am needed to teach, inspire old and young.

My husband and I have always been gypsy travelers. But since he has passed away I am still wanting to live our free and traveling life the way we did together. We have done workaway in Brazil, Australia, and Tonga and loved every minute of it! We have hosted also at our ranch in Canada for over 15 years and have had workers from around the world stay with us. So i now how to be a host and a worker:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want too still travel where ever I can, but I want to meet people, have laughter, learn about the countries I am visiting and experience all parts of life like the locals. The best part about traveling is meeting beautiful people willing to open their homes to travelers like me.

I love classical music, salsa, dance, and jazz. I love the opera, ballets, and live music. My favorite book is my bible and I'm incredibly proud of my accomplishment of writing 8 books over the last few years about parenting, relationships, faith, and struggles.

I'm incredibly proud of my accomplishment of writing 8 books over the last few years about parenting, relationships, faith, and struggles. I have been a foster parent for 37 years to over 100 kids and teens that have been through very hard struggles in their lives.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share my knowledge, wisdom and experience of life, struggles, faith and travel. I am in interested in learning anything new, as your never to old to gain more wisdom and talents.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking, I love teaching, I love sharing and I want to travel and share my love for people and the warmth of opening up our hearts and homes as that is what we have always done with my late husband.
