ABOUT ME

HI all!
I am a chilean Engineer that after graduted decided to go exploring the world and life. In order to do that I went to Australia, to work and travel, so I change my life every 3 or 4 months, new works, new friends, new experiences.
I think living this way makes me grow a lot, because I have so many different experiences in so short time, I know myself lot more that what I knew about me before living Chile.
I know I am a friendly, optimistic guy, who enjoy to hang out with friendly and respectfull people.
I think there is not.time to waist in complaining, because you need it for doing.
I travel a bit around the world, most in Australia and Asia. and well this is an addiction, you just want to keep going and going and every place I go I feel damn, there is so much else!!
But I think I want to settle in Melbourne this year for a while and there is where I hope my couch will be available for all the good happy traveleres

PHILOSOPHY

Well I think the live is an unexpected game, where there are a lot of rules imposed by man, but where the real boss is the chance, So you have to try to enjoy all the good things that chance gives to you, and be strong to resist when he hit you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best experience till now is to be hosted
I was hosted in Japan by 4 different people and in Indonesia by 4 others.
Makes travel such an unique experience when people opens their home for you and if you are lucky they can share time with you to show you around.
All the local knowledge of a place makes a trip lot more valuable, comparing my first trip in Asia where I just went to meet ups, to this one where I was able to get involved with locals rise the trip experience in a new level. I enjoyed it lot more

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a fan of movies, but I like the movies that can surprise me, not a tipical history where the good guy wins, or things like that, I enjoy movies where you can't know what will happend, like memento, the goodfellas,
In music I enjoy the indy music, like the white stripes, the strokes and that stuff, I also enjoy classic rock, rock and pop, I don't like hip hop, r&b and all that
Electronic music is fine, but i will never go to an electronic party, its just not fun for me
Ah, I also enjoy a lot cumbia an latin sounds, like chico trujillo, and villa cariño

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Theres a Lot of amazing things I have done and seen, because thats how you enjoy the life doing things to remember.
My new year experience in Tokyo was far better than expected. 2 weeks before I decided to accomplish my 2012 dream and book a tiket, have so much fun there with all .y locals host, is in moments like this when you feel so happy to be alive :-)
Crazy things I have done is to crash in a wedding a few years ago, I was walking in the street feel the music and get inside an hotel, I didn't know what is going on there, I thought it was a prom dance, but It was someone wedding, I have a great time.
Amazing places are San pedro de Atacama, Valparaiso, and the south of Chile, there are all places to discover and enjoy in different ways

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I will very happy to share all my knowledge about places and things to do in Chile, I know a lot of Santiago and Valparaiso or Viña, Also at the moment I am living in Sydney so I can share the little things I have discover in this amazing city or few tips if you are planning to come here
