Overview
About Me
I there! I'm Giacomo, from Pavia, Italy. I'm 26 yo and I'm actually in Italy. I graduated in foreign languages and I speak Italian, which is my mother tongue, English, Spanish and a bit of French. I started travelling five years ago when I went volunteering in Peru and since then I couldn't stop. 3 years ago I started traveling Europe, doing workaways (even during COVID) and photography on the way. I just came back from one year in New Zealand, working and traveling around the country. I think couch surfing is a beautiful way to meet new people from everywhere. I’m a people-person and I love having fun, meeting new friends and learning about their lives and sharing skills and stories and cooking delicious meals. I also enjoy time for myself, reading books and spending hours in nature.
Looking forward to meeting you around the world 🌎☀️
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been traveling a lot during the past years, always doing some volunteering job with workaway and workdpackers or working in foreign countries. I heard about couch surfing and I think it's another amazing way to meet new people, learning something new from everybody, sharing stories and making good friends
Interests
I've been dancing for 10 years, and drawing has been my biggest passion even if I don't do it much now that I'm traveling. I started photography 3 years ago and I always bring my camera with me, it's like my arm extension now. I started Yoga during the quarantine and I've been practicing regularly, planning to get a 200hours yoga certificate one day. I'm into any kind of sport, love to surf, skate, run, workout, trekking in nature and driving.

Any kind of chill remixes, deep house, raggae, but open to any kind of music. I'm reading more informative books at the moment, about our society, about our impact on the world, about food and yoga
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went backpacking to South America at 20 yo, did my Erasmus in Santiago de Compostela, walked the Camino de Santiago, worked in a surf camp in Portugal, learned how to farm in Algarve, worked as a receptionist in Barcelona, did the harvest in France and traveling around NZ in a campervan 🍇
