About Me

My name is Giacomo, I'm 26 years old and I live in Rome, Italy. I'm finishing my master in business communication. I'm a friendly person, I like to be with my friends, meeting new people and try to learn something from everyone, not always it's possible, but I alway try to find good from them. I like soccer, I'm a truly supporter of A.S. Roma, but I made a lot of sports in my life and this year I'm going to start a new one, American football. In 2014 I've started to travel seriously, I've been in Morocco, visiting around Marrakech, the next year in Japan and in 2016 in Tenerife, a beautiful island, full of nature and amazing places to visit, I just didn't care about night life. In this trips I started to love kitchen; eating something cooked in a traditional way always bring me back in the country I eat that dish, and the challenge is to get better and better. Photography is another passion I've start to love since my trip in Japan: it's the best way to create a link between You and the places; though I'm an amateur I'm trying to develop my technique and my motto is: "the more I travel the more I will be good!". I've realized that it's important to be brave and grab life by the b@lls in 2015 after my university degree, I grew up a lot since that year and now that I find love again, I want to live pushing to the limit and try to see as much as possible of this world and be a citizen of it, every single day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard of couch surfing in 2014 but I've never imagine me trying to search for an host between travelers. Now that I grew up and I realize how much is beautiful meet people around the world and I think is the moment to share my travel experience and take the one from other travelers around the world. This September I will do my first travel alone, around California for 15 days. I read and search a lot on this place and I'm so excited. Spending time with locals is the core of a trip and I hope to find beautiful people and friends to host in my city.
