Hi!!!! I'm Giacomo from Italy. I have lived in London since 2010 but I have recently decided to take a leap and return to my beautiful homeland to start a personal project. I always worked in publishing, so books are something that occupy a special place in my life. Before settling down again I decided to take some time off and that's why I am here. I am going to travel around the Middle East, starting from beautiful Iran, for which I have very high expectations!

I have a curious mind, want to explore and immerse myself in local culture and traditions. I am friendly, respectful and love meeting new people. I am active and happy to get stuck into wherever I can, in order to experience the places I visit like a local. I am environmentally-minded, respect nature and do my best to reduce my impact on the environment.

I speak Italian, English, Spanish and basic Chinese. My other big love is photography and I spend most of my time walking around the streets and taking pictures.

I would like to get to know Iran from the inside, learn about Iranian culture, its history and of course its food.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I will be traveling around the Middle East. I would love to see and live the places I am going to as a local and immerse myself into local cultures and traditions. I love talking to people, listen to their stories and find inspiration for my photographic projects.
