ABOUT ME

- upon first meeting me you might consider me a calm and friendly guy, which is not false, but if we were to hang out a couple of times (and bring my good friend alcohol along) my more talkative, more energetic side would surely surface.
- love edgy humor, good films/series and good music, sports - passively and actively - especially tennis, football and ice hockey.
- would consider myself a bit of an internet addict.
- play the piano and the guitar, and I love singing.

PHILOSOPHY

Although I studied International Relations, I don't do political discussions because I never know all the facts about a specific topic, and I don't want to give an opinion that I subsequently cannot advocate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't live in my proper flat but only have my own bedroom at a nice eldery lady's house, I cannot offer a couch or anything to sleep on. The lady doesn't approve of guests.

Since I really would like to broaden my horizon and not land in the trap that Chimamanda Adichie calls the single story (check her TED-talk), since I want to shed my insecurity towards new people from different cultures, plus since I would like to save some of my scarce ressources, I'm pushing myself into trying this couchsurfing thing.

Books: I'm really embarassed to admit that I haven't read a book in quite a while. It's not that I don't like reading, I really do, it's just that my lifestyle won't allow for enough time to have a good read.
My all time favourites are The Little Prince and Life of Pi, though.
