Overview
About Me
I'm a Programming Instructor and Web Developer currently living in Madrid. I am originally from Puerto Rico, but went to University in the US and Canada. Since then, I've established a goal of living semi-nomadically for the next couple of years. Other than technology and video games, I enjoy great conversation, good beer, even better food, and generally traveling and exploring new places :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's no fun to live by yourself, and neither is it fun to be tied down by a rental or property contract. Keeping in tune with my goal of being semi-nomadic for the next couple of years, couchsurfing is a great way to share experiences with others while living in different parts of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I actively seek and listen to metal and rock music, but I'm also somewhat into EDM and electronica music. While I'm more old-school (think Tiesto before Elements of Life and Basshunter's LOL), I can well listen to the newer stuff. I don't actively listen to music like rap or reggaeton, but don't mind it if we're at a party or venue that's playing it. The point is to have fun, right? :)
As for books and shows, I like sci-fi and philosophical shows. Not really into the 'destroy them with lazers' or the whole alien stuff, but shows like Battlestar Galactica are the perfect blend of what I'm into. Also an avid fan of Isaac Asimov. I am also tangentially interested in political economy authors such as Ayn Rand.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Somehow survive a -30 degree winter in Quebec City on the streets because our hostel got our reservation wrong.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Spanish or English in exchange for French or Danish. Or if languages are not up your alley, I can teach you how to code in Javascript and can generally teach you all the intricacies of building modern web applications.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hosts can expect me to be openly friendly and a great conversationalist. I won't be just some individual paying you money to take up space in your home in exchange for a place to sleep. I'll actively seek and would be open to chilling at your place or hanging out around the city. Also pretty big fan of meeting new people, so if you wanna go out I'd be totally down for that as well. Also, if i'm doing something in the city and you want to tag along then that's totally fine with me too. The point is to have a good time and get to know each other :)
