My name is Gian Claudio, I studied electrical engineering in Rapperswil. Now I still live in Rapperswil but work in Zürich.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch available at my home where you could stay. It just seems that nobody wants to come to Rapperswil?
I could show you around in Rapperswil, we could go swimming in the Lake Zurich or I could make some food for you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in summer 2010 in Canada and did a couchsurfing-bicycle trip from Switzerland to Copenhagen in 2011. Would love to host.

Interests

Skiing - since many years in Lenzerheide, Laax and Davos Klosters.

Ski touring and mountaineering - the Swiss Alps are just awesome!

Cycling - road biking. I cycled all the way from Switzerland to Kopenhagen.

Technology - I'm interested in robotics and electronics. Once I was in a highschool-team building mobile robots, now I show younger students how they can do this.

Photography - I always try (more or less successful) to take pictures of the places i visit.

Bungee Jumping, road bike trips, skiing, travelling, swimming in glacier lakes, surfing (not only couches, waves as well)...
