ABOUT ME

Hi! I was born in Italy, in Latina, a town very close to Rome. My father is from Sicily where I spent all my summers until I started the Uni.
I then moved to Pisa where I became an aerospace engineer and I learnt how to play volleyball, one of my biggest passions.
I then moved to the UK and I am now back to Italy.
Recently i got married with a supernice girl i love so much, and we have a superfunny dog!

I think I am a nice person to be with. Friends are very important to me and I love spending time with them. I love good food - I think good food is key to be happy, and I can cook quite good Italian food too!
I travel everywhen it is possible to visit new places, and I have a very long list of places I want to go to! I always bring some good books with me, and a little jotter in which I can fix images and thoughts.

Sometimes I think very too much, and a good trip or just a chat with one of the few people that know me better is what I need.
I am fascinated by musicians and street artists, and I could spend hours just by whatching at them performing and enjoying what they do.

I spent all my childhood in a big house in the countryside. There were animals and fields all around and I still am simply happy when I am lost in the nature.

If I have to say what makes me feel very good, I would talk about the Sicilian sea, family Christmas meals, writing, talking to friends who really know me, the wind on a cliff.....spontaneity and simplicity.

I met a person who came to my place as a couchsurfer and I really liked the idea of this website.

I have hosted and I have met people in the various trips I have made. Very very great and enjoyable experiences so far!!

I do not have a single favourite movie or book.
Italian authors (Benni, Calvino, Tabucchi...).
Movies...Forrest Gump, Fight Club, Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain, Memento...and many Italian movies.
Music....De Andrè, Gazzè, Afterhours, Fabi, Guccini, Rino Gaetano basically songwriters...then indie and classic rock.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have seen fishermen coming back from the sea at sunrise in Sicily, snow on the Etna volcano, scotland cliffs.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Being with new people and listen to them talking about their experiences and stories is a very good way of learning about different cultures and way of living.
I can teach how to make Sicilian arancini, or a real Carbonara...or pizza...or I can explain how planes fly (at the end I am an engineer!).
I'd like to learn how to play guitar...I've got one but I can't say i can actually play it.
