About Me

ABOUT ME

My name is Giang (pronounced zang). I am orginally from Vietnam, but grew up back and forth between there and the US.
What else would you like to know? :)

PHILOSOPHY

I make an effort to treat people the way I would like to be treated, or even better in the way they would like to be treated (once I have figured it out!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I have only traveled and have been hosted. I've always enjoyed having an insider show me around a city/country. And I've always loved being the insider and sharing what I love about a place to visitors!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have made various friends and stayed with several host during my travels in Latin America. I love that everyone I've meet has been open minded, curious, friendly, and all have a passion for traveling and learning about new cultures. Makes me feel hopeful about the world =)

Interests

I like learning languages, traveling, meeting people, meeting locals. I love salsa and bachata. Sorta kinda like finance..., love economics, strategy, logic games! I find real enjoyment in meeting people and connecting/introducing them to each other. Sometimes I enjoy cooking more than I enjoy eating...I always enjoy eating :)

My biggest travel related passions: food + dancing. I'm good at recommending these places for Ha Noi, Hue, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City, Seattle, or Mexico! Just ask! :)
