About Me

Hey!
I'm Gianluca (yeah, not the easiest name to remember, I got used to that) and I'm from Italy. After spending all of my life in the same place I got tired of it and am now enjoying Poland. Where will life bring me next?

If there any meal involved, both as a guest and as a host, you may want to know that I am vegetarian.

Please, before sending me a request, read my profile, especially the info about my home!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There's nothing more enriching than meeting people from different parts of the world, so let's enrich ourselves!

Interests

I'm very curious and I like to discover new things, I like sciences and I organise a series of science popularisation events here in Kraków.
I love everything connected to mountains, but mainly skiing, trekking and climbing.

Music, Movies, and Books

BOOKS
Depending on the mood I may prefer fiction or non-fiction, some classics or something light. Recently I've been particularly amazed by Vonnegut.

MUSIC
I'm passing quickly from punk to folk, from electronic music to indie. I like to discover artists from different countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I broke the Italian stereotype and I moved out from my parents' home before turning 40!

Teach, Learn, Share

The most important thing we have in our life is time, and being open to share time with other people is the biggest gift you could give. Too philosofical? Well, so we can just share a dinner and a walk around Kazimierz (absolutely the best area in Kraków).

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Italy, Poland
