About Me

I'm a student and I'm attending my Master Degree in International Relationships, specifically in Middle Eastern and North African studies. I love to travel and discover new cultures, different points of view and mostly local cuisines! As an average Italian, I love football (I'm a Milan fan) and to cook, but I also love to play videogames and watching TV series, as well as spend time in museums or simply chilling in front of a fresh pint.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered Couchsurfing while I was in Turkey during my EVS, I've spent the most beautiful time with Turkish hosts: from the kurdish student house in Mardin where we could live on our skins how young muslims celebrate the Ramadan, or the magic vintage house in Demre where I was able to listen to fantastic vinyls, to the gorgeous boat in the Kekova Island. Couchsurfing can simply give you a part of the experience that you hardly have in other ways and makes your holiday unique.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love screamo and in general rock music, from glam rock to black metal. The best song ever written and played is, obviously, the Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody".

I like a huge variety of movies, from the catastrophic genre to historical ones, from Inception to Schindler's List, to get it clear. But as I already said I'm more into tv-series, in fact I'm a Netflix addicted.

I mostly read academic political books and articles, unluckily it's been a lot from my last novel, but I love to so I don't mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think it's incredible, but surely had a huge impact in my life: I worked as a voluntary inside the UNHCR's centers in the city of Gaziantep, Turkey, which is close to the Syrian border. I had the chance to help Syrian children to have better days as refugees. It was a special moment of my life, this experience, together with the one I had in Palestine, made me choose my studies and I hope could become the basis of my future.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can surely teach how to cook a perfect pasta, which is very easy, more than what is commonly done by foreigners. I can share my knowledge on foreign affairs, even if they are not probably that attractive and, why not, maybe we can sing together in a karaoke! I love to sing, even if I'm not good, it makes me fell better! So basically, we can share happiness and some good laugh.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook you an Italian dish! Ask me whatever you want and if the supermarkets of your country allow me to do it, I will surely fulfill your wishes!

Countries I’ve Visited
