About Me

Currently living in Santiago, Chile, working in a telecommunications company for about a year and a half now. My family was not a big fan of big trips so i never had the opportunity to travel as much as i would've love to, but now that i can afford travelling on my own i'm eager to know as much of the world as i can.
I'm very respectful, social and a caring friend, i love to demonstrate my friends how important they are to me. I love meeting new people from all over the world, it's always nice to share about your culture and fun stories, it gives you another perspective not just on the world but on how to live day by day.
This is my first time in CS but i'm pretty sure it will only bring me awesome experiences.
I like nature, cooking, sports, partying, and of course there's always time to just take a break, chill and have a cold beer with your friends and friends to-be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Obviously CS is a great option to save a couple of bucks, but i mainly got here because of a friend's recommendation, he told me what a great experience it was to hang out with locals while travelling with CS, told me about his experience and i couldn't be more thrilled about living my own adventure abroad meeting new people, sharing fun stories, learning about other cultures, getting to discover places so special that only locals know, partying, cooking and sharing a cold beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Hard to say, i like almost every kind of music, i thing it depends on what you're doing and you're mood. Some great bands and artists: Sticky Fingers, Milky Chance, Blink 182, RHCP, Oasis, Pearl Jam, Macklemore, Eminem, Tash Sultana, Mac Miller, among so many others.

Movies: Uff, thought that choosing favorite music would be hard, this just gets harder. Just to name a few: Star Wars, The Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, Inception, American History X, The Departed, Fight Club, and again so many others.

Books: Not a great reader to be honest, but i'm trying to work on it. Now i'm trying to read Yuval Noah Harari's books, i've heard they're pretty good and i think it's an interesting topic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing adventure i would say Machu Picchu, beautiful trip, magical place, met awesome people but most important thing so i don't start going so deep into details, i went there with my 4 best friends, for the 1st time it was the 5 of us abroad having fun. Awesome memory.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach chilean and italian cuisine, spanish language and chilean culture, i think it's really interesting to share our perspective of the country we live in and compare it with how foreigners see us from outside.
Eager to learn from other cultures, their ways of living, they're cuisine and every life experience they want to share with me, i would say i'm a great listener.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Definitely a great time, i'm always excited about new activities, meeting new people and having fun. As i said i love cooking and food in general, i could definitely be an awesome partner for going out to try local cuisine and bars. Oh and not that i like to brag, but i've been told that the pizzas i make are pretty awesome.
