Finnish mother, Napolitan father, Aussie sister I guess I am a cosmopolitan by default!I have moved to Ireland in 2001 and ended up staying and adding a lovely boy, Elia, to the family cosmopolitan tree!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosting for a few good years now but rarely surfed! I like to host people and get in touch with good souls and offer a safe harbor. Traveling is great but can also be a bit stressful at times if you are always on the go. I like to host for at least two or three nights, as that give us a chance to spend time together and give the chance to this connection to grow. Sometimes people stay longer if we both feel like it.
I try not to over do it though and take some time between hostings as I like my own space too from time to time :)

Also wrote 8,000 wordsx2 on it, spent time researching it, meet a few good heads(Csers) and went to some meet-ups in Cork....are u experienced?

Movies:ANY Terence Mallick movie up to the Tree of Life ....Hong Kong Express-Happy Together (Kar Way), What'sEating Gilbert Grape,L'Eau Froide (Olivier Assays),Jesus Christ Superstar;Herzog's documentaries....and rolls on.... I love movies and the art of film-making.
Music:I can't even start!Anything,really!From different shades of rock,jazz,world music,pop,electronica.As long as it is good and has a heart!
Books:The Songlines(a book I reccomend to all CSers!!)-Stranger in Strange Land-books about stuff(history,planning,globalization,music,photography etc)
