About Me

Hey! I am a 24 years old Italian guy. I am a very sociable guy who loves meeting new people, and I take every occasion I can to keep in touch with people from all over the world. I spent my university years in Rome and I lived six months in Germany, where I learnt german. In fact one thing that I like a lot is traveling, and learning new languages and cultures.
After my graduation I left for France, and lived six months in Strasbourg where I was an intern. Now I am back to the roots in my R(h)ome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I think there is no better way of traveling than meeting people from the place you are visiting. Living with them makes everything even more special, an occasion not to be lost.

Interests

When I was a teen I loved reading especially classics, but now I like reading different kinds of books, and I recently took part to a cross book sharing, which was a really nice experience because I had the chance to discover new authors and books.
Anyway I think what I love most is traveling. As I have enough time (and money) I plan trips wherever I can. As I spent a big amount of time living abroad I came to know lots of people which are now big friends and since we share this passion we always try to find new places where we can meet together. Last one was a music festival in Belgium. Music festivals are kind of huge experiences and overtime I took part to any it was amazing. There is no better way to know new artists or enjoying your favorite ones.
Having lived in Italy I also matured the passion for archeology and art, which I think are the basis of my national culture. Street art is also something that I am discovering these last years and passionate me quite a lot.
Also, I love speaking other languages; I can speak english, french and german, but with my greek friends I am trying to learn some greek (right now I can ask for food, which is enough maybe)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love italian indie music, brit music (Oasis, Franz Ferdinand...), but I also enjoy parties with some cool dance music!
My favorite movie is "the royal Tenenbaums".
And about books, I had never found an answer to that. It usually happens that I think "Ok this is my favorite book" while I am reading one that I like, but then I think I also love that other one, and that one too...
Let's say I love all books from Italo Calvino, I like Pennac a lot and Coe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can definitely say that it was amazing the consequence of my decision to live in Germany for a semester: I met actual friends, nothing compares to finding new friends. And everything we did together was just amazing: partying, dancing, visiting boring places, staying 2 days in Hamburg without sleeping and then leaving for Bremen...
