My name is Gianna, I'm 21 years old and I'm from Germany. Right now I'm traveling the United States and Bolivia (also to do some volunteer work) and that's also why I can't accept guests in my hometown Munich, right now. I was studying in the United States for one semester and it was an awesome experience. As you may have already figured, I love traveling, getting to know new cultures and new people. I also love reading, learning languages, meeting my friends, photography and all kinds of media - especially social media and blogs (probably one reason for my choice of studying communication :)).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend took me to Chicago during my semester abroad and we lived with his former couchsurfing hosts with whom he had become good friends - that was an awesome experience, especially as one of our hosts took us to his favorite spot in the city. It was the best travel experience I had so far (and I travel a lot), so I never want to miss this again.

Music, Movies, and Books

Generally, I'm more into series (Gossip Girl, Pretty little liars, Grey's Anatomy, Vampire Diaries - I got them all and yes I'm a real girl! But I also tried GoT :)). Honestly, I don't like films that much. When it doesn't get me right away, it never gets me, I get bored and fall asleep (which is saddening :D). But I liked Boyhood for example.
I love all kinds of books - especially fantasy books like maze runner, HARRY POTTER (hero of my childhood) and the host, but also romantic novels like the rosie project or books like the ones john green writes. If you got any book you love, let me know and I'll definitely read it!
Since I love singing I'm especially listening to any kind of covers :)
