About Me

I am currently pursuing my Master's of Architecture at Tulane University in the amazing city of New Orleans. I love my program and have made some great friends, with whom I live (along with our dog, Molly). Ideally, I would spend my days reading, drawing, hiking, and eating beignets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Any book by Tana French. Sherlock Holmes. A tree grows in Brooklyn is great; I must have read that book 20 times. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo trilogy. Love in the Time of Cholera

Movies: Monty Python always cracks me up. Am also a huge Lord of the Rings fan. Blade Runner, Alien (Ridley Scott is amazing), Star Wars, Serenity, really any sci-fi.

Music: Frank Ocean, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, Beethoven (good for relaxing), Sara Bareilles, Rihanna, Louie Armstrong but always open to hear something new

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All the hikes I have been on! One day I climbed 3 mountains over 15 miles of rugged trails in the Adirondacks. There isn't any feeling quite like summiting after hiking for hours.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make mean biscotti and pesto pasta. I have a ton of books up for swapping and can talk to you about architecture, art, running, hiking.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A different perspective on the United States- I have traveled in the States often and think it's amazing how distinct different parts of the country are - even on the same coast. A love of learning and a desire to explore. I'm a decent cook and good with kids, a result of four younger brothers.
