I am willing to try pretty much anything once, and my goal in life is to always be learning and experiencing new things.

I have just finished travelling through Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and India) for the last 5 months and I have just moved to New York.

I love indie cinema, horror movies, But movies, but I will watch pretty much anything, especially if it is strange or obscure. I am a huge Star Wars fan as well! Some of my favorite directors include Quentin Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, Christopher Nolan, Park Chan Wook, Zhang Yimou, Wes Anderson, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, Steven Spielberg, Kevin Smith, Spike Jonze, Werner Herzog, Richard Linklater, Darren Aronofsky, Danny Boyle and Erroll Morris.

I love reading and will generally have a non fiction book and a fiction book on the go at the same time. Some of my favorite authors include Bill Bryson, Irvine Welsh, Louis de Bernies, Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, William Dalrymple, Brett Easton-Ellis and Dave Eggars.

Music is probably my favourite thing and I will listen to pretty much anything, except heavy metal, hardcore punk and very commercial pop music.

I am particularly a fan of indie, folk, jazz, blues, hip hop, rock, funk, house, bass music, electronica and "world music" (a vague catch all for any non-western music). But like I said I am open to hearing pretty much anything new 😁I am a huge fan of Tom Waits as well.

Trekked 120km to Annapurna Base Camp in the Himalayas in Nepal.

I have been to AfrikaBurn (South Africa's Burning Man festival) four times and I have seen some pretty crazy things there, just ask.

I traveled through India and Nepal for 6 months in 2010, and through Asia for the last 5 months in 2017/2018.

Otherwise I have traveled extensively through my home country of South Africa, which is awesome! Highly recommended.
