ABOUT ME

I have recently completed my university studies and am now ready to start a new chapter in this big wide world that is life...

I studied law with a focus on human rights and social justice issues. I hope to one day use my legal degree to work in policy in NGOs and not for profits to help combat poverty and discrimination.

In my other life I'm a musician, singer songwriter type who loves performing and recording. I lived in Canada for 18 months in 2006/2007. I travelled around Canada and the US, recorded an album and played shows in different cities.

I love travelling, the adventures, the unknown. I find travelling most rewarding when meeting local people learning about their culture and way of life.

My latest mission is to see more of Australia and to educate myself in Australian indigenous culture and history. An area which I feel is extremely important and yet I have very little knowledge in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to this couch surfing website but definitely not to couch surfing! I have slept on many couches in my time ranging from friends and aquaintances couches to meeting locals and them sharing their home to me for a night or two ... all have been great experiences and I appreciate it greatly.
