我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Someone I hiked with suggested that I should look up Couchsurfing. I did. The concept amused me and I joined.
Every Couchsurfing event I've been to ever since has been epic. I've met people who I will never forget and I look forward to the future conversations and friendships I will find along the way. I enjoy seeing/meeting different cultures and hearing stories and ideas.

兴趣

hiking, yoga, hang gliding, slacklining, improv comedy, martial arts, good food, sun shine with a bit of shade on the side. Recently got interested in rock climbing. ... and dancing (tango, salsa, bachata, Kizomba).

Favorite movies, Forest gump, Top Gun, Burn after reading, Dragon: the Bruce Lee Story and lots of Chinese Kung Fu movies with English Subtitles like Hero (2002), Red Cliff, IP Man, Mongol, Fearless or any epic and witty warrior movie. I avoid watching horror/thriller stuff. Into the wild has also been stuck in my head since watching it.

Favorite Music, anything goes! If it nourishes the soul, turn it up! Jazz, deep house, psy trance, a bit of rock, epic music, 80's, 90's, disco.

Favourite audio book, The Graveyard book by Neil Gaiman and anything from Douglas Adams

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Learned how to fly hang gliders. No engines, just me, the wind and the wing. It took a long time, with plenty of ups and downs, but I stayed dedicated and am still doing it today. I have witnessed views and emotions you can't get in any other form of activity.
