About Me
Hey there,
I'm a web developer living and working in Dresden.
I have an ever-growing list of places to visit and journeys to take and still believe that the best experiences come by accident. When on my own planning is not my top priority, just buying a plane ticket and having some places to visit is usally enough. When travelling with friends however, I am the guy who is making all the reservations and spends nights on finding a great itinerary.
Always love meeting new people, finding unexpected places or trying something new. There are not many things in this world one should refuse outright, but there is so much to give at least a try. Sometimes you fail, sometimes it is okay and sometimes I wonder how I ever lived without.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling for me is not about rushing from sight to sight. It is about the people you travel with or meet along the way. Couchsurfing is a great way for this and so far has never let me down!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Most stuff from classical music to rock depending on my mood. Favourite artists include Finger Eleven, Ólafur Arnalds, Rise Against and some german folk bands like Versengold or Schandmaul.
Books:
Haruki Murakami would be one of my favourite authors - loved reading 1Q84 or Killing Commendatore. Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series or the works of David Dalglish to stisfy my fantasy needs and for non-fiction I always loved reading travel reports, where I always try to find some in antiquarian bookshops.
Movies:
Really mixed up. I enjoyed Tangled as much as Up in the Air or Lord of the Rings. :D
Current favourite documentary? Kedi!
The Expanse is my TV series of the last years.
Teach, Learn, Share
Besides from some nerdy stuff like programming and tech, I can teach you how to raise your own army of rabbits. ;)
