About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living fully in a world where time is ticking away too fast!
ABOUT ME
I'm all about happiness, music and adventure! A smile which will be seen and a laugh that will be heard, but especially: a simply happy heart.
I think too much about everything and nothing, while acts often stay out of the picture and dreams remain unheared. Whenever confidence lets me, I try to surrender... it's then when the little miracles happen. Life changing moments.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a thinker, too much of a thinker in fact. But I combine it with love and life. Forest Gump was right when he said that life's like a box of chocolates: you never know what you're gonna get.
I like to love and share in life.
Quote: "When you feel at ease with uncertainty, endless possibilities enter your life." (translated from Dutch)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Offering a couch and reading wonderful travel stories. I'm still quite new here, but so far so good. ;-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Amiens (France): loved it! Thanks for the couch you two.
Barcelona (Spain): shared loads of mails before arrival and had a nice time with Uday while eating some tapas. Thanks again.
Apart from that: interested to join a CS-meeting in the neighbourhood. Anyone?
Interests
Music maestro! The intimate feeling of playing music from deep within the heart! Dancing and jamming all night long, eventhough it mostly takes me half an hour before I loosen up! But once I'm off, I'm kind of unstopable? I don't know, in those cases I often think I'm crazy :p
Food, good food, and food again.
Having a good talk, sharing words, making sense or not making any sense at all.
Trips and travels, adventure and risks.
Nature in its pure form, simply enjoying it as it is.
All kinds of music, but Jazz and Blues, Soul and Funk, Singer songwriter and world music are my favourites. Let's just say: they make my heart go quite a lot faster.
Moving to the rythm of good music.
And of course: having a good drink at the pub (prefering the old and authentic brown sigarette smelling pubs, or how could I describe this a bit better.. I'm Belgian and I love good beers in nice pubs (or just outside in the garden)).
Volonteering, and getting my hands dirty!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteers camp: in my own country but getting to know people from Croatia, Greece, France, Tsjechie, and Slovakia. Standing on a roof top of a very old farm and restoring it. Went hicking with a friend last summer in France, by foot and by tent. ... SO: with only this on my WOW-list, the best can only be yet to come - definately!

I can uhm.. Show you the basics to play the saxophone? Or the clarinet? I've also got a guitar and two djembés. Let's jam?!
Other than that: I don't need a lot of sleep: who's in for a 60hrs battle? Gowever, I really do love sleeping too ;-).
