Music: depends. Sometimes it's jazz or swing music, sometimes some rock, sometimes blues, sometimes tango music. And some sorts of club/chill/techno stuff.
Books: The Plague, The Stranger, The Black Obelisk, Master and Margarita. And others. And the ones I still haven't read :)
