About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living in Italy with my partner, Current plan is to move back to Australia with him xxx
ABOUT ME
Hi, My name's Rachel, I'm 26 years old.
Nearlly spent my whole Life in western Australia, Mainly Fremantle which i call home (Perth) and 7 years of my childhood i spent down south in Denmark W.A. Then in 2006 I visited london by chance and fell in love with it, and luckly thanks to my Mum and grandad I have a British Passport. So I'll be going back for sure....
(People say I sound and look english so maybe I belong there) :.)
I've Worked in Hospitality for quiet a few years, but want something different long term, something more secure to have a family & buy a house - maybe teaching or something to do with fashion, im not too sure right now...
Right now I am living & working in Italy with my Italian Partner and have been here for 11 months but playing a visit back home to Oz soon so he can meet the rest of my family and good friends as well all the fantastic sites and the beautiful ocean.
I'm a Really bubbly/Giggly person, Very clean & organized, responsible, sensitive and caring...
I'm interested in doing more traveling and i enjoy Photography a lot, shopping (second hand particularly - Op shops to be precise), drawing, swimming at the beach, reading a good book tucked up in bed, dancing my butt off, spending time with good friends and my family....
I like cooking but preferably with other people or for them... I also Like making huge stacks of pancakes with fresh fruit, yogurt & maple syrup. I love to have a good chat as well (Have been known to have them long into the night)....
PHILOSOPHY
I don't really have one, i Think in the past I was just trying to take things as they come...
Now I think i need to practice 'Letting things go' and not worrying so much all the time...
Trust your gut instinct and laugh lots....
Oh maybe, mmmm treat people the way you wanted to be treated, is a good one.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Haven't been involved with couch surfing for a while after my previous job in Oz took up too much of my time, organizing weddings, engagements, birthdays and so on in a big Brewery with beautiful views, beer and food.
Then where i was living was unable to accommodate other people being able to have space to sleep, so i have been in touch with couch surfing for some time, and now live in a Bunker/shoe box with my partner so hopefully on our return once we are settled we would considering offering a place to sleep.
In the mean time, When we get back to Oz (Fremantle/ Perth) we would be available for a coffee and possible site seeing dependent on time available.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The first expereince i had with couch surfing was meeting Leon from Germany, and it was a great experience. he stayed with my parents. And look forward to meeting their next CS or experiencing it for my self.
Having people stay and or being put up on a couch :.)
I've since met Flavia from Torino, Italy and Sabrina from Germany also, who my parents both hosted.
And then I caught up with Audrey for coffee who's now a freo girl but is from Singapore...
Since then, i have been living in Italy with my partner and turns out his best friend is a couch surfer as well 'Small World'.
Interests
Mmmm I like a lot of things, swimming, photography, roller blading, ice skating, SHOPPING, (I have quiet an addiction) listening to music, singing, reading a good book or magazine, going out for dinner and having a nice vino, dancing, drawing, catching up with friends over a yummy cake/pastrie and a cuppa tea...
Recently got back into collaging more, from cut outs of fashion magazines and things i love....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing: Seeing my brother born.
London was quiet breath taking for me when i arrived, and also going to Sydney was gorgeous too, i walked around the cove and saw the opera house and bridge and my breath was literally taken away, my partner at the time said my mouth was hanging open.
I can now also say Venice (Venezia) is really great as well, and worth a visit for sure....
I love Bergamo, and recommend a visit to the Upper City (the old part) and Enjoyed Verona and the brief visit to 5 Terre.
