About Me
CURRENT MISSION
travelling around Europe and possibly beyond!
ABOUT ME
I'm currently traveling around Europe with my boyfriend and possibly beyond, http://intothebeyond.ucrony.net/ enjoying the journey and working out where I may possibly want to stay longer. I'm keen to see more than just the tourist spots, I want to see what the place would be like to live in. I'm particularly interested in the activist communities/ scene wherever I visit.
I've lived in the Uk for the past 4 years, mainly in London where I've worked as a primary school teacher and become very involved in social justice and environmental activism.
I don't smoke and am happy to go to bed early or late depending on my surroundings. I'm a vegan/ vegetarian and enjoy cooking, especially collective meals! I've recently found a recipe for a really good vegan chocolate cake...
I'm asthmatic and have allergies to feathers and most animals, in particular cats. So unfortunately for me if you've got pets who live in the home I probably can't visit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've just heard about CS through people I've met while traveling, so at the moment I hope to visit some couches. When I get back to the UK or settle somewhere else I definitely plan to offer a couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted a lot of people (friends, relatives, friends of friends etc) in the UK but just through friend networks not the CS service. I put together a pack which developed each time someone stayed, including maps, oyster cards (travel cards), phone and sim, a developing 'where to' guide with anecdotes added by our visitors.
Interests
workshops, skill shares, anarchism, climate activism, radical education, skipping, hula hooping, outdoor sports, cooking, baking, reading and getting hooked on television series such as Lost (trying to kick that particular bad habit!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
500 people ripping down fences at Radcliffe on Soar power station, inspiring stuff.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share how to make really easy vegan scones and cake! I'm also developing vegan and veggie recipes and would love to share what I know and learn more!
I can give direct action and facilitation workshops.
I would love to learn how to do fire poi!
