About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Keep the good karma cycling.

ABOUT ME

I am a professional nomad of sorts. I work as a tour director in

What I think my friends would say about me:
-they would trust me with the keys to their house, the combination of their safety deposit box, the care of their first born and the secrets about love affairs
-I'm great fun to be around because I'm quick witted and spunky
-they admire they I follow my heart
-I think too much and that's the cause of my suffering

PHILOSOPHY

Do no harm. Be kind. Take responsibility for your own happiness. Enjoy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am "homeless" because I sold everything and have been on the road for three years. I spend Oct-May in Punta del Diablo Uruguay and the other months wherever it's warm. I work as a tour director taking groups of from the U.S. to Cuba for a cultural exchange program. In between trips like to travel. I feel very strongly about giving and will host as soon as I have a comfortable space to offer a guest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in Foz de Iguazu, Brazil and I loved it! Two of the nicest guys I have ever met hosted us and we enjoyed each other's company. I also stayed with a couple in Santiago, Chile and was very pleased with the experience. I have hosted two couples and both were very fun and endearing--the kind of people who make lifelong friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit job, sold or gave away all material possessions, and followed my heart. I'm told that's amazing/couragous.

Teach, Learn, Share

I was an English and Spanish teacher for many years. I have a new career as a tour director that still allows me to teach, but without lesson plans and papers to grade!
