I am a young(at least I hope so) African girl who considers herself a global citizen. I love food and seek all and any opportunities to get involved with it (cooking it, eating it, smelling it…YES FOOD SMELLS GREAT😌)

I have been traveling alone since I was 18 years old and that has come with its ups and downs, certainly more ups than downs cause I’m a glass half full type of gal.

I also enjoy a nice chill zen day having a picnic at the park and reading a book, as much as I enjoy a fun night out. One required less energy though. I have also come to realise that my energy is very polarized which makes me both extremely extroverted and also extremely introverted haha. I’m also very infectious, but you would only know that when you hang out with me!

I’m very interested in learning as many languages as I can and as such have made very conscious and intentional effort to live and work in countries that don’t speak English. I think English speakers often except the rest of the world to understand them and so sometimes it’s nice to be in a place where you’re the one who struggles to understand others.

For me life is perfect when I have simple pleasures like a clean houses,edible fragrances,cooking with music on,reading in a park,soft serve activities, doing dangerous things carefully,laughing out obnoxiously loudly,watching shows cuddled up,expressing intrusive thought and watching the clouds from the window of an airplane .

So yeah, that it! (I think! … probably not haha but this should do for now)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There’s two reasons, I’ll share one here and if I ever get to meet you and you remember to ask, I’ll share the first reason and (probably ) more interesting reason.

So as for the second and less interesting reason, Im on Couchsurfing because travelling really is like fresh air to my lungs and sometimes it’s more about the people I meet and the experiences I have more than the places itself and so now that I’m working in a more demanding job, I would love to bring that experience and those people to me, and exchange some of my experiences, until I’m able to up and move again as I used to.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is just like me haha, soft, energetic, surprising and maybe a little polarized too haha, you have to be in a place with a speaker while I Bluetooth connect my phone , to really understand.

I’m currently reading a Micheal Palmer book that I borrowed from my office library and as for movies, I’m something of a film whore, not picky at all and would watch just about anything that can hold my attention in the first 2 minutes!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have self taught myself to speak French… but I don’t think that’s very amazing so I hope to do something soon that would really blow my mind enough to become « one amazing thing I’ve done »
