About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make the most out of every opportunity I am presented with. Find out what I truly like and dislike. Discover who I am (as cliche as it may sound).

ABOUT ME

Believe it or not, it is only recently that I've discovered my interest in travelling. For a long time I thought my priority was to save as much of my money for the unknown future. My mind was pretty much closed in believing in spending any cash and time in going to some place I can simply view from google images.

A handful of people have changed my views, though one person made the most impact on me. He had walked the Earth and did countless things that I could only think about for a moment and abandon with self-doubt and fear of the unknown. He inspired me to look beyond a stable career, big house and nice looking number on the bank statement (obviously these are still great things to have, but maybe not priority at the moment for me). And so, BAMM! My passion in adventure and discovery was awaken! My CURIOSITY of other's cultures and traditions came to light. My legs craves to walk on fresh, new grounds and my eyes are always hungry for unfamiliarity.

Interests

I LOVE the NHS (National Healthcare System of the UK) - Some takes it for granted and have very little appreciation of it. Like many government-ran schemes, of course there are things that can be improved. But I have seen the alternative (Indonesian's all private healthcare system) and it really suck.

I play Badminton at least four times weekly. Being an Exec of the university's Badminton Club means I do need to be at most sessions we run. I play for our school's team and I would consider my self a worthy opponent (on a good day) if you would like a game.

I like music. A lot.
I can play the piano, ukulele and I can play 10 chords (more or less) on the guitar, so I'm going to go ahead and say I can play that too! I like most genres of music. Not the heavier stuff maybe. But my favourite at the moment has to be MOTOWN, BLUES and all that JAZZ! (there is a great pub near me in Bradford where they do weekly live jazz, and that is where you'll find me on sunday nights).
