About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Wrap up an amazing few months of travel and get back to work I guess :-P

ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Sao Paulo and have lived for many years in and around New York city. I work with technology today but I'm exploring the idea of changing careers in the future.

I'm interested in food, music, science, art, literature and all the other things that we (humans) occupy our time with.

I'm on the last part of a four month trip through Europe. It's been an amazing experience and I've been continuously blown away by the people I've met along the way. It's an experience I'll never forget and I'm looking forward to hosting people once I get back to NY or wherever I end up living in the future!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a laid back person, I don't impose my will on others but I also dont tolerate manipulation of my life. I tend to treat others the way I want to be treated or to ignore them completely if we don't get along. I dont have time to waste being someone's enemy and I don't hold grudges.

I like good conversations, interesting people, jokes and laughter, music and dancing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently had my first CS experience in Tours, France (06/23/2011). I had a great time staying there and it was a very positive experience.

Interests

Cycling, snowboarding, reading, good movies, good food and drink, languages, people and their ideas/motivations, history, science, etc.

I'm a big fan of interesting whiskeys, bourbons and other brown liquors. I'm slowly developing my palate for and knowledge of wine. I'm also very much into good food although I hate the term "foodie". I've also got a friend who runs an excellent cheese shop so I've had an opportunity over the past few years to indulge my love of a very good cheese.

I love to see live music (especially jazz and classical) but lately I haven't been to many shows. Hoping to change that soon.
