Overview
About Me
My head was often stuck in an atlas as a kid, National Geographic as a teenager, Google Earth as an adult and now I am scratching my itchy feet by travelling through South America.
Born and raised on a farm in greenest Ireland, I spent much of my childhood outside. I am easy going, endlessly curious, not fussy and always ready to try new things. I don't worry about things and I tend to get by with occurrences of serendipity and chance opportunities rather than having everything planned out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've only heard of good experiences from friends who have been involved and I think it sounds like a great way to travel and to really experience new regions.
Hosteling and camping can get tiring and lonely. Couch surfing enables one to feel at home and part of a community and to meet people and do interesting things not found in typical tourist/backpacker routes.
Interests
Photography, mountaineering/hiking/climbing, cycling, live music, playing Sim City far too much.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I believe in recipriotracy, pass it on generosity and most of all, food is friendship!
I am quite happy to help out with any chores or projects needing done if it gives you more time to yourself. I've been travelling only for a month and already I have helped out in two hostels and have worked on rebuilding a house.
