About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel inside myself and contemplate others respectfully

ABOUT ME

I was one year travelling around the world and since then I did a couple of long trips again :) the best of my travels have been so far the people I have met in CS (I was not doing CS all the time, may be 1/3 of it).

I love to read, listen, think and feel. Also to walk long trails and dance (i.e. latin salsa).

I'm quite absent-minded with my things but hopefully caring with others.

I just think we all share 3 fundamental things:

1) We all have felt, are feeling or will feel in given circunstances extreme pain in our body and/our souls (if there is any difference between these two).

2) We all have experienced in our first years of life the care of someone or someones who raised us.

No human baby can survive by him/herself without the help and care of an adult (being it mother, father, granparents, adopted parents, or someone -but human- working in a institution).

Humans are just made like that. Anyone is necessarily experience basic human care in its baby condition, no human can survive without it.

3) We all die. That's it.No exception.

Whenever you saw someone on the street just keep this 3 basic things in mind:

1)This person has, is or is going to feel extreme pain (body or soul)

2)He has experienced what is human care at least in first years of life

3) Is going to die, some day.

And now look at her or his eyes and watch if there is someting different going on.

PHILOSOPHY

Sense of humour and respect

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before starting my trip around the world I hosted 6 people: Bryan, a so interesting teacher from US, came for 3 days, Efrain a young guy from Mexico was so nice in his stay at my place, also the so adventorous Emma He (China), Eve (Singapore) with her so nice and acid sense of humour or the so energetic Hajar from Morocco. Only one girl (who has been fired out Couch Surfing system after a couple of bad references including mine) was not showing the minimum respect.

Then I stayed, I think, in more than 30 places around the world and meeting all this people has been, without doubt, the best of my travelling so far.

Music, Movies, and Books

"Lagrimas Negras" Bebo Valdes & Diego El cigala - latin music with a touch of jazz

Movies: Gattaca, Dogville, Moulin Rouge, Amelie, Indiana Jones series, Little Miss Sunshine, Toy Story (quite a mix!)

Webs: www.ted.com (great science, art, soul talks usually by wise & inspired people)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteer in the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Barcelona 92 (what a great international atmosphere!)

Camino de Santiago pilgrimage: 850 kms. walking (30+ days) from the south of France to Finisterre (the end of the earth) in the northwest of Spain. A great way to find yourself and people from around the world just walking, eating and talking.

9.000 kms. by train from Beijing (China) to Moscow (Russia) with the Transiberian train. Actually I didn't have to do anything amazing, just seat, see and sleep :-)

The round the world tour itself I did in 2008-2009

Teach, Learn, Share

I may teach NLP (applied psychology for daily living... :), besides I love to show Barcelona city and discover new places! I will love to start learning how to play a guitar...
