I live in the Hudson Valley. It's the best backyard ever. I love getting on my bike and riding, walking through town, swimming, and anything outdoors. I love a well made cocktail or a hoppy beer. I enjoy cooking, but I love eating out even more.

I'm the father to a fantastic 9 yr old boy who keeps me young. I'm sarcastic , irreverent and easy going.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be selling my home in the near future and I have many fond memories and experiences in this area. I enjoy sharing those moments. I also think it's adventurous to meet complete strangers and exchange ideas about cultures, hobbies and lifestyles.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm an 80's child. But, eclectic taste. However, country, blue grass, heavy metal and rap fall to the bottom of my wish list. I do prefer music that is unique and not-mainstream.

I'm a big kid at heart, so, action- adventure, scifi, animation are at the top of my list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've always been health and fitness minded. So, I decided to run. I entered a race and did well, but it was brutal on my knees. Then, I got into powerlifting. I fell in love. I have won first and second in local amateur meets and hope to continue.
