I,m a TOUR GUIDE of course but I spend some of time to help kids at my father's ophernage center which is located only 3 kilometers away from the city center, if you are teacher, volunteer or a person with a big heart who willing to help kids,teach them something this is the best opportunity! The ophernage has got 50 kids aged between 4 - 20 years girls and boys. Some are in secondary school and other still at primary yet.
If you have foods, pens, chocolate , clothes, to bring to them they will thank you so much. If you don't have any gift still no worries either just take some hrs to teach them something new you know, dance, Play football,cook together, painting, that will make them feel happy not lonely. We are humans been let's help each other:-)

Gilbert is a fun-loving guy who will try almost anything to help you, I'm always on the go I tend to act my own only when I have to.

I'm very open-minded, reflective, compassionate, and understanding. I have a lot of friends around arusha and moshi + Zanzibar, but few really close friends I trust most. I look for the good in people and trust others until I have a reason not to. I enjoy traveling and guiding usually solo or with friends and seeing/doing what there is to see and do. I go with the flow and may make general plans, but I'll certainly leave room for those need accomodation. I'd rather spend my money on experiences and help people with needs like kids than things!

I like to do volunteer my time with some different ophernage or sober house when I can. I'm a nature lover kids and dog. and enjoy helping out anyone need my help if I can immediately...

Nothing makes me happier than when I'm able to help someone else or make their day in a big or small way. I may be that guy who pays for your coffee or juice while you're in line behind me.
I will take care of you if you're interested to stay at my house or do any tips around, you can meet with my family or plan any evening walk if you have short time to explore Arusha.

Tanzania Visa advise!
Before you plan your trip to Tanzania know that you can easy apply visa online which take 5-10 days to be approved but still you can get it once arrive at airport or the border.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I saw the news about couch surfing network on Instagram after reading it carefully I was interested on it and finally joined it 2025, I need to host people now or post a self-sufficient description, and ready to use it and the main goal is to make friends, host them and they host me too because I know it is also easy to plan trips to various places through couch surfing when I travel around to different cities.

My passion for travel and interest in people brought me here. I want to meet likeminded people from all walks of life with interesting stories to share, and become a little more enlightened about different areas of the world.

It is true that I am very interested in being one of the couch surfing forums in Tanzania especially Arusha and moshi town where you may be most interesting area to visit.

I have done a lot of things and seen a lot up to this age, I once helped a pregnant woman to reach the hospital in our village because there was no transportation due to heavy rain and a lot of mud! My friends and I carried her across the river. I have climbed mountains included Kilimanjaro and visited wildlife parks many times, I have seen an elephant giving birth and lion hunting Buffalo same day in Serengeti. it was a very happy day in my life never forget it.
