About Me

CURRENT MISSION

One step at a time buddy you'll get through it!

ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Gilberto, you can call me Gil if you'd like! This is all very new to me, but I had a couple friends recommend it, and after looking through all the communities I'm convinced that couch surfing will be an amazing experience. I have a trip to Spain planned with my sister mid March and am excited to meet new people and experience different cultures! I'm a very easy going person that can get along with anyone! It's a gift I have haha. I've always been able to put myself in other person's shoes and befriend anyone. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!  :)

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to live day by day. The future can seem scary but all you can do is be yourself! And there's only one you on this planet! How awesome is that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The Lord of the Rings, Pulp Fiction, etc. As far as music goes some bands I've been listening to lately are The Mars Volta, The Dear Hunter, Radiohead, Cursive, Yeasayer, TV on the Radio and the list goes on!Books that have had an impact on me are all the Herman Hesse books! My favorite author! Siddhartha, Steppenwolf, Demian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some years back me and a couple friends went island hopping in Greece. So many breathtaking moments on that trip. Like riding up to giant marble slabs, arriving at Santorini and seeing the black, red, and white beaches! Beautiful!

Teach, Learn, Share

I think it's very important to forgive and forget. We're all in this together and we're all human! Let's learn and grow together!
