ABOUT ME

Hi!
My name is Gil Blum. I am 29 years old, from Israel. Since I have finished my military service, I have been working in a software development company based in Tel Aviv. My boss was nice enough to let me go on a non-paid vacation and embark on a 7-months-long amazing adventure in South America. I love to hike long trails and see extraordinary views. My favorite thing is making people laugh. Be sure that a few minutes with me and you will not stop smiling... :-)
I like to couchsurf because I do not want to see places I visit from a tourist's eyes, but rather from a local point of view. I want to learn as much as possible from the people I meet. The main thing I remember from places I go to is the people I meet and the connections I make.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed a few times already during my journey in South America (in Chile and Brazil), and went to CouchSurfing events.

Interests

I love different types of sports such as soccer, swimming, ping-pong, Frisbee and running. Love to hike, listen to music, go out for a drink and meet new people. I'm a certified PADI open-waters diver as well.

I have served in the military and have chaperoned youth groups in Israel and abroad.
