About Me

My name is Gildas. I'm 23, I study agronomy in Rennes, France. I love music (hip hop, reggae, electro, dub, rock...), I like to meet people, I think I can define myself as a very open-minded person. I love jokes, I am very curious and I'm keen on learning things about history, geography, sciences, arts etc...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I go abroad, couchsurfing is an obviousness: there is no better way to discover a country and to meet people. I think touristic places are interesting, but it is not as a tourist that you really discover a country and its people. I don't want to travel only to take nice pictures. And there is no better and cheaper way to do it than couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are so much of them I can't do an exhaustive list. And, you know, I am this guy who love a lot of music, but when it is his turn to choose the music, he can't tell one song name...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most beautiful adventures of my life is not finished yet. 4 years ago, we created an association with 10 friends. We organise music concerts, dub sessions and a hip hop festival. Our events are bigger and bigger each year, and we are dynamising our countryside of Brittany (west of France). We can meet artists, we make people happy and have a good time. We also have done collections for the penniless during our events, and helping others is something I will always love. This is the most extraordinary adventure of my life, and I hope it will last as long as possible.
