About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I have lived in Annapolis, MD for about three years and have wanderlust. Would love to discover activities, events, and meet new people.

ABOUT ME

I've been around the WORLD ayaa, yaaa! :-) I love to travel. I lived in Saigon, Vietnam for a year, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) near Dubai for two years, and was in Santa Ana and Tamarindo, Costa Rica for three years. I have traveled 38 countries.

This is from a personality test that describes me very well, I think:

You are an EXPLORER not a negotiator

You are a highly spontaneous person who always likes to try new things. Novel and unpredictable situations don't bother you; instead you find them challenging and exciting.

You tend to be focused and resourceful and you are able to juggle a lot of projects at the same time; as a result you are sometimes a whirlwind of activity.

You have a firm grip on reality and enjoy living in the present tense. But you have a keen imagination that enables you to lift off from time and space to be remarkably creative.

You are humorous. You are able to laugh at yourself, and you like entertaining others.

You have a deep sense of compassion. You can show genuine insight into the needs of others; you are good at listening and talking; and you express a genuine desire to be helpful.

Yet you are easy-going. Your tolerance for others and their beliefs, your lack of prejudice, your ability to compromise and your occasional antics make you popular with others and a great companion.

PHILOSOPHY

Focus on the positive instead of the negative. Focus on what you have instead of what you don't have. Live for the here and now!

I would like to meet new people, and then participate in surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE!

I have hung out with new people in different parts in Asia a while back, did not do much, and now back on to explore again!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been around the Middle East, South America, Europe, and S.E. Asia. I just moved to South America (Medellin, Colombia) which has been my dream for a while since I am half Latin and want to immerse myself in the culture and language. There is not one place I do not want to go. Riding the camels around the pyramids was amazing. So was Petra, Jordan. The mountains of Chile are a spectacular sight to see as well. Too much out there! I love to experience it!

*Update: I quit that job in Colombia after three weeks because the school was a nightmare. Since then I moved back to Northern VA, then to Costa Rica, and now in Annapolis, MD. Still not convinced the USA is where I should stay.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Costa Rica, United Arab Emirates, United States, Viet Nam
