ABOUT ME

I escaped city life almost two years ago, after restlessly searching the world far and wide to find a place to call home. Majestic Peaks, blooming meadows and crystal waters lay in my backyard at the moment, and I feel quite content with the place I have chosen to settle in for the last few years. I love anything that has to do with the outdoors, and so I'm trying to learn as much as I can at the moment, hoping that one day I can share my knowledge and my passion with city slickers like I once was! I have come a long way from that girl who wondered if avalanche chutes on mountains are runs on a ski resort, but I also feel like i havent really even began to scratch the surface yet! I would gladly take anyone for a hike or any other wilderness adventure, nd hopefully we can learn from each other and share a few laughs and life philosophies!

PHILOSOPHY

Live for the moment, as much as everyone's heard that one, it's the best philosophy out there. And another important one is: don't count on anyone but yourself - oh and the nice people on couchsurfing.com :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have hitchhiked and slept on random people's couches, which is not very safe, but i tend to trust my first impression of people, even though i probably shouldn't. Hasn't gotten me into too much trouble so far, and has helped me meet some of the most interesting and memorable people in my life! Have not officially couch surfed yet, but it looks promising!

Interests

Being outside, laughing, hiking, reading, walking dogs, cooking, baking, dancing, singing loudly in the forest when there is no one around! travelling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed out of the world's second deepest canyon in only 2 hours, had a cigarette at the top to celebrate! yes!
