I'm a Mum of two amazing, young adults. I work as a Registered Nurse.
I'm responsible and friendly. I have travelled quite a lot and still have many places on my list to visit.
I was born in the UK and have lived in Australia for many years.
I also spent a few years living in Italy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting people from different cultures. The more travelling I do the more I want to travel. I love the people, sights, sounds, smells, food and languages I experience when I travel.
I backpacked around Japan with my daughter, had some great experiences and met some amazing people.
At present (Feb 2020) I'm planning a long, trip including Aus, Europe, Asia possibly Canada.

Interests

I enjoy travel, geography and history. I also enjoy being involved with my daughter's passion for art and my son's passion for sport. My son's sport gives him the opportunity to travel overseas and I travel regularly to watch him compete.
I have a TEFL certificate to teach English as a foreign language and volunteered in Poland. I will be volunteering during this trip too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left England many years ago, as a young girl alone, to live and work in Italy. In those days it wasn't as easy as it is now. It was a huge adventure. I loved the experience of living in a different country and this lead to me migrating to Australia with my young family years later.
