Books - The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Immortailty (anything by Milan Kundura, his last 2 books were wicked!) Slaughterhouse 5, The Brother of the more famous Jack, The World According to Garp, All's quiet on the Western Front, The Mosquito Coast, anything Graham Greeney, The Collector, Lolita, Catch 22........

Music - The Go! Team, Be Good Tanyas, Iron and Wine (esp the Album they did with Calexico, it's my all time favourite) Calexico, Over the Rhine, Andrew Bird, Antony and the Johnsons, Band of Horses, Beck, Belle and Sebastian, The Cat Empire, Mexican Institue of Sound, Kings of Leon, Herman Dune, Oh Susanna, Patty Griffin, Peter Bjorn and John, The National, Devendra Banhart.......I could go on but I'm sure you're bored by now!
