Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing may be a great way to meet new people and make some friends! :-)
I've been told only good stories about it so i'm giving it a try!
For now i'm the one travelling but maybe one day i'll be the one hosting you!

Interests

My great passion is the ocean! I like all kind of watersports and did a lot of them in my life. From swimming to sailing, rowing, kayaking, surfing, and the best one ever WINDSURFING!!! I'm also a scuba diver!
I also like sports in general (such as basket ball, football, rugby...) even if i'm not a fan nor a player.
What else... i love hiking, travelling and discovering new places, alone or with some friends. So far i have visited a big part of Europe, a little of USA and Mexico and a big part of Australia!
I also have a great interest in foreign languages. For now i only speak french english and spanish but i'm willing to learn some other one, maybe chinese?

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost all kind of musics but my favorite would be rock and all the bands that remind me of my teenage years!
Movies... my favorite one is "the fifth element" (i saw it like 20 times ^^)
Then come "The hurt locker"... amazing. I like most of the classic movies, some blockbusters (not all...). I have a problem with french movies... Barely 50% of them are good (my opinion). But i guess i have not seen them all, and it's the same for the other countries!
I watch a lot of TV shows, mostly american ones.
I'm not a big reader but my favorite foreign author is Stephen King, and french author might be Marc Levy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a day trip on a boat in Western Australia, swam with sharks, turtles and whale sharks!!!
I did the big Australian loop driving my car!
I scuba dived on some amazing shipwrecks around the world!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well i can teach a few french words and i guess i could learn how to speak a better english! I would like to learn other language too!
I can teach the windsurf basics!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my cheerfulness, tell my host about my passions, the trips i have done.
I'm not a very good cook but i can share my cookies recipe ;-) (one of the only thing i can cook right ^^)
