About Me

Hey my name is Gilad I am from Tel Aviv, Israel. I love sports, food, nature, historical places, nightouts, adventures and more than all authentic experiences. I am a friendly person and socialize quite fast. I love meeting new people, discover cultures and places and believe we all have something to share with others :) I'm quite new to this platform but I think the concept is awesome

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in the concept that enables people to experience new destinations along with getting to know local people and their way of life and stories, It's much more authentic and fun

Interests

I have wanderlust, I love discovering places whether it's nature or urban. I enjoy food very much and come from a country that food has a lot of significance in life. I love history, nightlife and a good conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books

I Pretty much like everything, I'm very open minded when it comes to music. My favourie music is americas 60's-70's rock music. Indie movies are my favourite, especially tarantino movies, but I'll watch also other stuff. Haven't read much books lately, mainly academic articles, though it's interesting as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept in kiriganga village in the Indian himalayas at 3500 meters height, woke up 5 AM while it's freezing cold outside, and went to the hotsprings at the hilltop of the village. It felt amazing and I had a clear view of the himalays snowy mountain tops, a truly unforgetablle moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an ok cook. I can teach all kind of other stuff like basic guitar playing, some card games, share my stories and experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

it's pretty much depends on the host, I really try to adjust myself to whoever having me in his\her place. If the host is willing to open for conversations and hanging out together I would love that, but I would respect also if the hostess is busy or has other interests.

Countries I’ve Visited
