I am an active 70+ woman with an insatiable curiosity and wander-lust. I am also addicted to Scuba Diving - I did not start until I was 69 and now I have to work hard to catch up on all the wasted years when I only snorkelled!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Being retired and therefore living on a pension, we cannot travel as much as we like unless we explore all accommodation options. Plus we really enjoy the opportunity to experience life through the eyes of a local. Hubby and I have travelled extensively through HomeExchange and SERVAS, and only recently learned that Couchsurfing did not have to be a sleeping bag behind a sofa! LOL. I had several wonderful CS experiences in India, but right now we are looking for someone to take us around the city of Cannes for a day.

Eclectic music and reading preferences. Movies that stand out in my memory (in no particular order) are Fantasia (the original 1940 one), Being There, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Contact, Theory of Flight. Me before You.

Recent books include a book about India, Land of 1000 Rivers, and A Tale for the Time Being. Also read a lot of non-fiction.
