ABOUT ME

I'm very enthusiastic and supportive of my friends' interests passions. I love to meet new people and learn new things. I'm a good listener (and a good conversationalist). I often laugh loudly.

Interests

I love food, photography, red wine, cats, and things that are orange. I read and write (essays and short stories), bike, and sometimes teach yoga. I work in tech and while my iPhone isn't glued to my hand, I do love to show people how the right technology can help improve their lives. I also love to travel and always have a trip in the works.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2007, I attended the birth of my bestie's first son. It was messy and amazing and I am so privileged to have been included in that super-special moment.

That same year, I ran the NYC marathon. It was my 2nd of 3 marathons, and also the best, as I lived in Brooklyn at the time and saw dozens of friends along the route. I felt amazing through the whole 4.5 hrs (and even beat Katie Holmes!).

The third is a tie, between a spontaneous trip to Cuba earlier this year that left me awed, humbled, and inspired by the people I met there; and even more recently, mentoring a group of super-smart, enthusiastic 11-year-old girls at a spring break tech camp. Both experiences affected me in grand and different ways.
