Hello Welcome to South Korea! 안녕하세요!(ann-yeong-ha-seyo)_
My name is Gillian. I was born and raised in Toronto Canada. I’ve been living in South Korea for 4 years. I love living in Korea. I recently moved a cute smallish town called Gongju. It’s small compared to most cities in Korea. I love this town. It’s a mix of old and new and a break from the fast-paced life of Seoul. I am happy to show you the small town life of Korea. There are plenty of things to do in all seasons. I am available to host you Friday-Sunday as I am teaching Monday-Friday.
IMPORTANT INFO TO KNOW:
This is a culture exchange. I love spending time with new people. I welcome you with open arms. If you are interested to find out more about Korean culture from a foreigner perspective, this is right place to hang out.
Gongju-si (Gongju City) is located 1.5-2 hour bus from Incheon Airport or Seoul Express bus terminal.
I am happy to meet you at the bus terminal to pick you after 6pm on Friday or anytime on Saturday.
If you come to visit Gongju, I would highly recommend coming Friday evening, if possible or Saturday morning.
Sleeping Arrangements
There is a comfy couch or a floor mattress available in the living room. All linens, pillow, blankets, and towels are provided.
If all of this sounds good with you, please feel free to send me a request.

ALL ABOUT GILLIAN
************************************************************************************************
I am passionate, spiritual, soulful, happy, and outgoing . I am aware and grounded. I am open and adventurous. I love to laugh, have fun, and enjoy life and all its wonders.
I love being outdoors, watching documentaries, yoga, meditation, cooking, art and design and creating new things.
I am passionate through my curiosity, my adventure, and telling my story. Bohos, hippies, and the esoteric are fascinating to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My experience has been mainly hosting. I've hosted people from around the world. I JUST LOVE IT! Positive and a learning experience. I am hoping to do some travelling myself and visit all the wonderful people I've met when I hosted. I've visited one of the couchersurfers that stayed with me. It reminded me how couch surfing is a really beautiful exchange of love, energy, and connections.
I am now out to explore the world and experience being a surfer.
