ABOUT ME

I am a 21 year old, laid back, college student from the US.. I have been living in Finland near Oulu for the month of August volunteering on an organic farm.
I enjoy backpacking and biking everywhere, and I love playing soccer and many different sports.
In school I work hard, studying for an Industrial Engineering degree. I am in Finland to do something different, and I'd say to learn something about myself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think I will be using this more for the travelers take on it, but if someone wants to meet and have some cool people to hang out with in Athens, I'd be more than happy to facilitate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am completely new to couch surfing, but I have had great times in the past simply being set up to meet friends of friends in new places I've gone.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently my tiny mp3 player consists of Modest Mouse, Radiohead, and the Beta Band, but I like a lot of other music as well, namely hiphop/indie.
Movies- One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, My Cousin Vinny, Raising Arizona, The Big Lebowski, many more

Books- I'm trying to read all the classics, but its hard to find the time. Currently rereading the World According to Garp

Teach, Learn, Share

I can juggle a soccerball pretty well, drop kick a rugby ball, spell "blood" with my fingers, roll a real nice cigarette (dont smoke habitually), and make really good vegetable soup..
I also can do all those things from being a kid-- crack plenty knuckles/owl whistle/clover the tongue, etc.
