About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My husband Raeph, my baby and I are currently living in Market Harborough and looking forward to meeting new friends around.
ABOUT ME
I do not remember when it all started but, ever since I was very young, I got especially interested in other cultures, other ways of living, other societies.
Therefore, I like to think of myself as an hybrid. I am Argentinean, with Italian blood and background, and I have lived in England and Spain. My husband is French Tunisian. I love Thai food... What can I say? I am a woman of the World :-)
PHILOSOPHY
I am a very calm and lovely person, though I admit the Italian blood comes out sometimes :-)
I am very easy going, and the people that have lived with me say I can really adapt to places, and new people.
Back in Argentina, my family usually likes inviting friends for barbecue, and dinner. This is something I learned from them, even when I live abroad. I enjoy inviting my friends and cooking for them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted Patrick and Villo in Barcelona, and I have been hosted by them in Austria. It was a great experience, we tasted Spanish and Austrian food for real!! , and we discovered beautiful landscapes, and places.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing is a great tool when you want to travel and meet people. Mainly because it connects you with locals, people who know the best places to visit, and makes a difference for your experience in a new city. I really enjoyed hosting, and being hosted.

Interests
As I said, I am interested in writing, new cultures, languages, blogging, IT, photography, social media and travelling.
I also enjoy hiking, and tasting new dishes (even ants!!! as I did in Montebello Lakes, in Mexico).
I recently discovered scuba diving in Malaysia, and did the PADI open water course. I love this new experience, and I am looking forward to doing it in Bali, Thailand, and wherever I can!
I am also working on my website:

Music, Movies, and Books
I like many types of music, most of them quite different: MatchBox 20, Jamiroquai, Shakira, Luis Miguel, Eros Ramazzotti, Laura Pausini, Rob Thomas, Joaquín Sabina, Ismael Serrano, 80's music...
I like going to the movies, some of the films that got me thinking are: "The Others", "6th Sense", "When Harry met Sally", "El hijo de la novia"...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My husband and I did the most amazing thing in our lives... we travelled around the world for more than a year. We started in Barcelona, then flew to Buenos Aires, and travelled around South America upto the States. Then we flew to Malaysia, and visited almost all South East Asia, and then Australia. More than 40 countries!! There were loads of amazing things but just to highlight a few: we saw anacondas and caimans in Venezuela, we swam with sharks, we spent time in a small (1oo metre wide) island in Honduras living with a Garifuna community, we ate ants in Mexico, we climbed and hiked the steaming active volcano Concepcion in Nicaragua, and a lot more...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach or share: cooking, journalism, blogging, travelling, how to travel better in South America, languages, I can teach Spanish, English, and Argentinean slang :-)
I would like to learn about the cities I visit, improve my French, improve my cooking skills, learn how to make new dishes, learn good tips about travelling :-)
